Sponsor an African School
Peter Farrington, Director of the Oriental Orthodox Library, is taking part in a challenge to raise £4000 to build a school in rural Africa.
He is going to be walking the 100kms of the St Cuthbert's Way in April 2008 with a work colleague, Chris Irons. The St Cuthbert's Way follows the course which St Cuthbert took when he became Bishop of Lindisfarne in the early years of the Church in Britain.

Can you help us raise our target of £4000? Every donation is important. We have created a website called Walking for Africa, and we ask you to visit it and see what we are doing. We are trying to keep the news up to date of our preparations. You can make a donation on opur website using a secure charities funding agency called SmartGive. |
